International Collaboration
More than 30 nationalities work together across disciplines, locations, and cultures. Different perspectives are valued because they lead to better decisions and stronger results.
From sample reception to final result approval, every step matters. At ifp, you become part of a broad analytical team working together to deliver reliable results that support quality, safety and trust.

Science that protects people starts with work like yours. In our accredited laboratories in Germany and the UK, you'll be part of a team that turns complex analytical challenges into reliable answers – for food, pharmaceuticals, and beyond.
You bring structure to uncertainty: developing methods, interpreting data, and guiding customers toward decisions they can trust. More than running analyses, you help define the quality standards others rely on.
Working here means connecting your expertise with colleagues from different disciplines and backgrounds – all driven by a shared commitment to precision and scientific integrity.

We take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks. We keep our commitments, communicate openly, and address challenges before they become problems.
Great results are achieved together. We support each other, share knowledge, celebrate successes, and create an environment where people enjoy coming to work.
Science evolves, technologies advance, and requirements change. We stay curious, learn from experience, and continuously improve how we work.
Complex customer projects require coordination, clarity, and reliability. Professional project management ensures alignment, transparency, and on-time delivery.
People from different countries, backgrounds, and career paths contribute unique perspectives. We believe diversity strengthens collaboration, innovation, and decision-making.
We earn trust through scientific integrity, transparent communication and reliable processes. Our results are reproducible, traceable and grounded in validated methods.
We focus on the requirements of our customers – listening carefully, understanding scientific and regulatory needs, and providing solutions that support safe and compliant products.
High-quality science requires coordinated teamwork across countries, laboratory sites, and disciplines. We combine expertise to achieve robust analytical outcomes.
We take responsibility for the accuracy of our work, the impact of our decisions, and the quality of our scientific contributions. Ethical awareness and regulatory compliance guide every step.
We respond efficiently to changing requirements, supporting customers with timely results and clear communication. Analytical decisions depend on precise and prompt information.

Microbiology, chemistry, molecular analytics, or instrumental analysis (HPLC, LC-MS/MS, ICP-MS, GC-MS/ MS). Current-generation instruments. Cross-training is part of the routine.

Here, you support the first critical step of every analysis: sample handling. Your tasks may include LIMS registration, controlled storage, chain-of-custody processes, sample preparation, and field sampling. Accuracy and traceability are essential, because reliable analytical results begin with well-managed samples.

ISO/IEC 17025 frameworks: audits, proficiency testing, method validation, document control. Current focus areas include PFAS scope expansion and automated deviation tracking.

You coordinate inquiries, manage order details, track project status, and ensure clear communication between clients and laboratory teams. Quotation support, documentation handling, scheduling.

In production, you help manufacture validated test kits for the food industry. You may prepare reagents, assemble kit components, support quality checks and document production steps. Your work contributes directly to reliable test kits used by laboratories and partners worldwide in food safety and quality control.

Finance, HR, IT, marketing, project management, facilities, business operations. Roles range from administrative coordination to IT support for LIMS architectures and instrument connectivity.

The operational backbone of our labs: preparing samples, running analyses, maintaining instruments, and safeguarding accreditation standards. Build expertise in chromatography, microbiology, LIMS‑based logistics, or internal quality systems.

You develop analytical methods, lead cross‑disciplinary projects, and support clients in data‑driven decisions. Your work ranges from validating rapid microbiological tests to managing proficiency testing schemes.

You provide the operational infrastructure across our network. From project management, finance, and IT to technical and operational support functions – you enable reliable, compliant analytical work.

Join real analytical workflows from day one – not simulations. We offer working student positions as well as excellent entry opportunities for graduates. Gain hands-on experience with authentic projects, present results in team meetings, and benefit from structured supervision and training on state-of-the-art analytical instruments.

Vocational training in a defined operational, administrative, or technical field. Structured curriculum, dedicated supervision, and practical on-the-job learning aligned with your training path.

You don’t need to come from a traditional laboratory background to make an impact here. In this area, you help ensure that every sample enters the analytical process securely and efficiently. Your tasks may include on-site sample collection, transport, intake, registration, and pre-analytical processing.
Understanding our clients' needs and working with colleagues to find the best solutions – that's always a real success story. What motivates me most is the close teamwork across departments.
Every day is different – from shaping brand strategy across Germany and the UK to aligning marketing and sales. What drives impact is collaboration across teams and countries: different perspectives, shared standards.
