DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025
General accreditation by DAkkS as a testing laboratory. The umbrella certificate covers all four partial accreditations.
Scope: Testing of food, feed and medicinal products, including chemical, microbiological and molecular biological methods. Detailed scopes are listed in the annexes to the certificate.
DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 – Water
Accreditation scope for the testing of drinking water, mineral water, swimming pool water and process water.
Scope: Analysis of drinking water, mineral, spring and table water, swimming pool water, water from dental units and process water at the Berlin site. Drinking water testing and sampling also at the Ohrdruf site.
DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 – Medical Devices
Accreditation scope for microbiological and hygienic testing of medical devices and environmental monitoring.
Scope: Sterility testing, bioburden determination, detection of specified microorganisms, bacterial endotoxins (LAL) and airborne and surface germ counts in cleanrooms.

Quality management system for the development and production of diagnostic test kits for food, feed and human diagnostics, as well as biological and ecological systems.
Scope: VitaFast®, AgraQuant®, AgraStrip®, DNAComplete® kit development and manufacturing.
GMP Compliance
GMP
GMP-compliant testing in accordance with § 14(4) No. 3 of the German Medicinal Products Act (AMG), performed under contract for pharmaceutical manufacturers and marketing authorisation holders.
Scope: Microbiological testing of non-sterile pharmaceutical products. Bacterial endotoxin testing (LAL/rFC).
Regulatory Designation
Official Laboratory for Organic Farming
Designated under Article 37(1) of Regulation (EU) 2017/625 as an official laboratory for sample testing within EU organic control systems for the State of Berlin.
Scope: Authorised to perform official controls within the EU Organic Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2018/848).
Official Approval
Non-GMO Project – Approved Laboratory
Approved laboratory for the testing of agricultural commodities and derived products for GMO contamination under the Non-GMO Project’s Product Verification Program.
Scope: GMO screening, event-specific identification and quantification for Non-GMO Project compliance.
Proficiency Testing & External Quality Assurance
We participate in national and international proficiency testing programmes across all relevant analytical disciplines. Regular interlaboratory comparisons confirm the accuracy and reliability of our methods and demonstrate ongoing competence to accreditation bodies, clients and regulatory authorities.
Results are systematically evaluated. Any deviations trigger immediate root cause analysis and corrective actions, which are documented and tracked to closure within our quality management system.
Food Chemistry & Contaminants
Proficiency testing including pesticide residues, mycotoxins, heavy metals, process contaminants and nutritional parameters in food and feed matrices.
Microbiology
Interlaboratory comparisons for pathogen detection, indicator organisms and hygiene parameters in food, water and environmental samples.
Molecular Biology
Ring trials for GMO detection and quantification, real-time PCR-based species identification and allergen DNA testing.
